Is Digital Genius Lab A Scam?
Earning a passive income using the internet is entirely possible. Unfortunately, only a small percentage of those who tried have succeeded in actually making some money online. One could argue that the reason why so few succeed is due to a combination of luck and hard work. However, I would argue that a good percentage of the failures are direct results of using a bad program/product. A good product can elevate your earning potential by teaching you the right ways to market and brand your website. If you are successful in finding the perfect product, you are already halfway into your journey. Unfortunately, a good chunk of the products you see on the internet are not good, and dare I say, just outright SCAM.
The point of my website is to identify such programs. I review programs to determine whether they are a scam or not. More often than not, the results are not good. I’ve only given recommendations to very few programs out of the couple hundred programs I’ve reviewed, which show that I am pretty stringent in my assessments. Today, I am going to review another affiliate marketing course that claims to teach you how to make good money online. The program is called Digital Genius Lab.

What Is Digital Genius Lab?
Digital Genius Lab is a company that provides trainings and education for people interested in affiliate marketing. They claim to be the perfect platform for teaching beginners, and even professionals, how to do affiliate marketing correctly and effectively. They have tons of resource with regards to earning money online. For all intents and purposes, it looks just like any other internet affiliate marketing course out there. But upon closer look though, you will notice certain irregularities and patterns that make it seem like you’re not being told the real story at all. In this review, we are going to take a deep dive into the inner workings of this system to determine if it is worth your money or not.
Providing an educational resource for affiliate marketing is actually a very lucrative industry which is the main reason why there are literally thousands of products claiming the same thing – that they provide the best training available on the subject matter. Obviously, they all can’t be correct. There are standout among all the affiliate marketing resources I’ve reviewed in the past. However, there are also a lot of dumb products out there. Let’s see how this program stacks up against the rest.

How Does Digital Genius Lab Work?
For $99, you will get a training course on Facebook Ads, teaching you how to leverage the power of this social media site to boost the traffic into the sales funnel. This sales funnel page will be given to you by Digital Genius Lab once you become a member. Basically, all you need to do is drive traffic to that site. You will get a commission every time someone spends money while using your affiliate link. It’s just a classic affiliate marketing system through and through.
Who Are The People Behind Digital Genius Lab?

How Do You Earn Money Using Digital Genius Lab?
Digital Genius Lab is a membership program that contains plenty of information about affiliate marketing. This information, as they claimed, will be helpful in setting you up in the world of online money-making. This means that the training you receive will teach you how to make money using the internet.
However, and this is the part they don’t tell you, is you will make the most money out of this program by selling it to other people. Yes, you read that right – by recruitment! A successful recruit would net you a healthy commission of 30%, which is higher than the industry average. If you bought this program because of a recommendation from a friend or someone you know, you are a downline and someone made a commission off of you. If you were convinced to buy this program, you might think that you can do the same. Unfortunately, selling this program won’t be that easy considering that its many qualities are questionable – we’ll discuss those later.
Another way of earning money using this program is by buying into their sales talk and letting them create a sales funnel for you. Once created, all you have to do is drive traffic to that particular sales funnel and hope that it gets converted into a sale. For every sale that comes from the traffic you bring in, you will get a commission.
One last way of making money using this program is to promote a water filter system from Enagic. I know what you’re thinking, this is a bit out of character, no? But upon careful research, you will soon learn that Enagic is a MLM company that sells its water system anywhere between $500 – $10,000. It’s an extremely expensive product but I can’t seem to find any proof of it being effective at all. At the worst, it’s just one of those ultra-expensive products that MLM companies peddle around to conceal their pyramid scheme.
Honest Thoughts About Digital Genius Lab
- Their sales pitch is a bit misleading
If you read about their sales pitch, it would seem like it is a company geared towards teaching you the ways of earning big money using the internet. But once you bought into the program, you will soon notice that the training is centered on recruitment and nothing else. If you aren’t familiar with systems like these, a recruitment-heavy program is one of the classic symptoms of being a pyramid scheme. I’ve discussed pyramid schemes plenty of times already but basically, pyramid schemes are a scam designed to only pay the people at the top of the food chain.
- They have a huge upsell
The normal price for the program is a one-time payment of $99. It will be short-lived unfortunately, because will be faced with an upsell to ~$300. The upsell isn’t actually that bad when compared to other products but still.. The fact that it hides the upsell to you means that they want to lure you in with the low price first to bait you into getting their real product which is priced at $300.
- They are affiliated with an overpriced water filter MLM business
It’s a bit out of character for an affiliate marketing company to be affiliated with a business that sells water filter because out of how irrelevant these two businesses are, but here we are. Digital Genius Lab is somehow affiliated with an overpriced water filter MLM business company, and no one exactly knows why. Well, apart from the company wanting to sell you that overprice product that is. As far as I know, that’s the only reason they are bundled together.
- Their training is outdated
The training materials they provided will only teach you things that you already know. Their “thing” is to teach you affiliate marketing from the ground up but there’s absolutely no proof of that in their course.
Is Digital Genius Lab A Scam?
I wouldn’t really rate it as SCAM but it’s very close. The fact that it does misleading claims and hides upsells and MLM companies in the midst of their sales pitch is enough to make me wary of this company.
One thing is for certain though, and I can say this without a hint of reservation – this product is not worth your money. There are literally hundreds of programs out there in the wild that are better than this thinly-veiled scam product. I can point you in the right direction if you like. As a closer to this article and also a word of advice to fellow marketers out there – you need to be wary of programs that make big claims like “easy money” or “get rich quick.” In all likelihood, these are just scams. While it is technically true that someone can “get rich quick” doing that but that someone isn’t you. It’s THEM! Just do your thorough research and you’re good to go.
