What Is Ashworth College All About?
Ashworth College is a nationally accredited college situated in Norcross, Georgia, U.S.A. The college offers wide of certificates, diplomas, associate’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees, graduate certificates and master’s degrees. They are specialized in distance-learning programs.
It all starts all starts with Professional Career Development Institute in 1987. In 2000, PCDI established Ashworth College start offering associate degree programs to students who need a relaxed approach to a college education.
Ashworth College started offering master’s degree programs in 2004 and bachelor’s degree programs in 2007.
I was incredibly wary when I first stumbled upon it, but it turns out that this college is my favorite higher education institution.
Today, they offer 3 high school programs, 10 career certificates, over 60 career diplomas, 15 undergraduate certificates, 30 associate’s degrees, 8 bachelor’s degrees, 6 graduate certificates, and 10 master’s degrees.
So Is Ashworth College A Scam?
Ashworth College isn’t a scam because is nationally accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission.

DEAC is recognized as an accrediting agency by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and the United States Department of Education.
Note: Ashworth College is not itself regionally accredited, it operates James Madison High School which is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement.
Ashworth College has an A- rating from the Better Business Bureau. BBB ranks companies on an F to A- scale; so Ashworth College’s rank is a good rating. Receiving an A- from the Better Business Bureau is a sign of a trustworthy institution.

Ashworth College is also authorized by the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission to offer instruction in career programs, undergraduate certificates, associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree and master’s degree programs.

I have been with them more than 5 years now and I don’t have any issue with them. I have learned a lot from this college and soon I will graduate with management science degree program by the end of this year.
Note: In 2015, the Federal Trade Commission (“FTC”) and Ashworth College entered into a settlement to resolve a complaint that had been filed by the FTC against Ashworth.

What Happens When You Enroll In Ashworth College Degree Program
To be accepted to Ashworth College, students must be at least 16 years old or have an enrollment form filled out by a parent or guardian. Career diploma and certificate courses generally have no prerequisites.
Their undergraduate certificate, associate and bachelor’s degree programs require a high school diploma or GED to enroll.
Master’s degree and graduate certificate program students must have at least a bachelor’s degree to enroll.
Once you enroll, you’ll gain access to the Ashworth College student’s portal where you’re presented with tons of learning materials.

You’ll also find your course works here, grades, semester exams, programs of study, transcript, learning resources, and documents.

This is all about the student support. They have tickets system, live chat, message center, career services, and FAQ.
What Is The Cost Of Enrolling In Ashworth College Program?
It depends on the program you’re enrolling. On average, it will cost you $58 per credit hour. There is no application fee. You can start as low as $29 for your initial deposit.
They offer 3 options for your payment pan: Pay in full, monthly auto payment, and monthly bill payment plan.

My Final Thought On Ashworth College
Overall, Ashworth College is a great higher education institution which offers a lot of degree programs. After years of attending this college, I gain so much knowledge in my management career.
Ashworth College may not be the best college, but if you’re willing to learn you’ll gain a lot of knowledge because most of the textbooks and contents delivered via online lessons are up-to-date.
I found most courses are very extensive and you’ll need to put in a lot of time and efforts to complete it.
I would recommend it for those are looking for the most flexible way to further their higher education and those who want a cheap way to gain a college education.
