The very nature of Valued Opinions is one that easily arouses suspicious in the minds of people.

If you are worried that Valued Opinions is a scam, it’s normal cause there are a plenty of scam survey sites out there.

Is Valued Opinion a scam? Or legitimate opportunity for you to invest your time in?

Is there any hidden catch?

My main goal is to gather all the relevant information about Valued Opinions to help you know whether it could potentially be worth your time or if you’re better off exploring other options to make money online.

What Is Valued Opinion All About?

Valued Opinions is a market research panel that offers online surveys, diary studies or test products for you to get paid. It is basically a program that will send you surveys and pay you to take them.

Valuedopinions.com was launched on March 3, 2004, and allegedly has an over 3 million members at the time of this review.

Valued Opinions is owned and operated Research Now Ltd. which is one of the largest online survey company in the world.

Research Now Ltd is a member of Council of American Survey Research Organization (CASRO), the American Marketing, Association (AMA), and Better Business Bureau.

So is Valued Opinions legitimate? I’d say more yes than no. It’s not the glamorous $80/hours jobs, but if you spend enough time taking surveys, you can easily make some extra spare change each month.

The Pros Vs. Cons Of Valued Opinions.

Pros:

  • Free to sign up and start earning rewards.
  • You can become a panelist.
  • You can earn rewards valued between $1 and $5 per surveys.
  • Points can be redeemed for several types of gift cards.
  • Active members can collect “badges” by their level of participation.
  • They guarantee your privacy information.

Cons:

  • You can no longer get paid with cash, check, or through a PayPal.
  • Credits for diary studies and focus groups may take up to 6 weeks to be credited to your account.
  • Many times after you get into a survey, you are told that you do not qualify for the completion of the survey.
  • In order to continue taking surveys on this panel, you have to regularly check in

Who Exactly Is Valued Opinions For?

Valued Opinions is targeted for virtually everyone who is already using a computer and wants to earn rewards from taking surveys.

If you’re already enjoy getting paid to take surveys, Valued Opinions will be a good paid survey sites for you.

While it has many of the problems that a legit paid survey site tends to have (disqualification and low payments), it doesn’t have the problem of a scam.

It will not make you rich. It won’t be able to support your family with taking surveys and paying some major bill because most of the time you do not qualify for a lot of the survey offered.

Another issue is that you have to hand over your personal information to a place that is clearly interested in sending your advertisement.

I don’t like junk mails and telemarketers, but by submitting your phone number and email address to them you are essentially opening up to them.

Tools & Training

Most of the functions of the Valued Opinions programs is straightforward and self-explanatory.

There is no need to download anything for the home users and the site is highly accessible.

The rewards program is explained in depth in the member’s area.

Support

Members can contact customer service via email or phone if you run into issues or a question that needs to be addressed.

Members also have access to a community of fellow members via the forum on home site on the Facebook page and on Twitter.

However, there have been complaints about Valued Opinions lack of response, timely or otherwise, to their member queries and concerns.

My Final Opinion: Is Valued Opinions A Scam?

Valued Opinions isn’t a scam. They turned out to be much better than I expected, but I still think spending your time on a website like this is a waste of potential.

you can make some rewards, but in my opinion, it is a huge waste of time.

The tiny amount of rewards that would be made from answering questions about where you live, what you do, and how much money you make would be better spent in another area of life.

You can do as you please with your with your time, but it’s my opinion that you shouldn’t waste your time with paid surveys if you want to make a decent income online.

This is not a business. Thankfully.

    • Hi Rose,
Finding the right programs that work is hard. I was almost about to give up the idea of making online a few years ago. I get lost along the way before I found a program that works best for me.
      Thanks.
