I’ve never heard of Rodan and Fields, but Proactiv was huge at one point. Honestly, if I knew they were an MLM I would’ve joined because they spent a ton of money on advertising. As far as I know, there aren’t many MLM’s that advertise. That’s their rep’s job.

Hi Ed, thanks for stopping by. Rodan and Fields offer quality products, but the only issues is the products are marketed via Multi-level Marketing. I’ve been involved in MLM for almost a decade now. So, I had experienced a plenty MLM’s weak points and strong point. In fact, MLM is really not for everyone.

I hear you when you say they are legit, because legally, they are. But I believe MLM’s are JUST ABOUT legal. Unfortunately, too much of the money from the masses does float upwards and about 80% of members will never earn a penny and there is an average turn over of members up to 4 months.
I have read so many stories of people filling up their garages with product they simply can not sell! This is known as ‘Garage Approved’! Such business models usually entail an ever increasing membership levels to buy more product for less, thus increasing your overall profits, if you sell them all.
The BIGGEST WEAKNESS, in my humble opinion surrounding MLM’s, is they DO NOT train their members in Affiliate Marketing! I am not sure about Rordan and Fields of course but its common enough that people are just told to share on Facebook and spam family and friends to their faces 24/7! Sad truth is, too many people just won’t care about your products. People need to learn to make a website around such MLM’s and then review each product one by one. That is the best way and only way to make BIG MONEY online selling these items.
I inherently distrust ALL MLM’s due to the mega-ton of horror stories online. I could go on all day about these business models and I certainly hope Rordan and Fields members are making their memberships worth while, even though, there are simpler and more powerful ways to earn online for the long term.

Good review and I have bought their products before they do work but I am not sure about the business. About all MLM businesses take a lot of time and usually money before you ever make any yourself. I am not an MLM fan but some are it’s just our preference.
