Is Panel Bucks A Scam?
Product Name:Panel Bucks
Price: Free to join
Rating: 4.4 out of 10
Verdict: It’s unclear what this website is all about. I would not exactly classify this website as a waste of time but rather a problematic website that is not sure about its identity yet.
What Exactly Is Panel Bucks?
At first glance, Panel Bucks would seem like just another survey website that claims to help its users earn money on the side. Only upon further inspection would you learn that it’s not that kind of website. In fact, it’s not a survey website at all.
Panel Bucks is more like a listing website of all survey companies. Every time someone signs up, they are recommended to different survey websites that aren’t affiliated with Panel Bucks. Think of it like an aggregate website that’s only goal is to make people sign up then send them somewhere else – to other survey websites.
I will discuss how this all works out in the coming sections below.
Who Are The People Behind This Program?
Normally, you can learn the author/s of websites if you do good enough research. That is not the case here.
To be fair, some companies do not want their authors attached to the website. But seeing actual people behind a program would certainly put your mind at ease since you can actually see their faces. They are less likely to be a scam if the faces of the founders are plastered all over the website.
Signing Up For Panel Bucks
Signing up for Panel Bucks is quite easy and is not much different than signing up for other survey websites. The main difference is they will dangle a Bonus of $25 for every signup. If you think that that is awesome, you are right. A $25 bonus for a survey website is practically unheard of in this business.
But is this bonus even real?
When I first saw the amount of bonus, I was taken aback because survey websites do not actually earn you a lot of money. In my years of reviewing, I’ve only recommended a handful of survey websites and they don’t even go up to $25/month earning. Naturally, I am wary of the $25 bonus because it seems too good to be true.
Unsurprisingly, here’s what I got upon further digging.
The keyword is ‘might.’ Apparently, you aren’t guaranteed to earn that $25. In fact, they aren’t the ones that will award that. You ‘might’ get that from joining survey platforms that are advertising on their website. Suffice it to say, the $25 is quite a misleading phrasing to lure in people into the program.
How Do You Get Paid?
Well, you do not actually get paid on Panel Bucks. They just act as some sort of aggregate site for several online survey companies.
For instance, they might post something like a work-from-home survey opportunity. Those links won’t come from their servers but other third-party survey companies that have agreed to advertise with them.
Technically, you won’t earn from Panel Bucks but from other survey websites that they offer you.
How Much Money Can You Make From Panel Bucks?
As I’ve said above, you won’t earn money from Panel Bucks. But that doesn’t necessarily mean that you won’t earn money from this endeavor.
You can actually earn some money from their recommended websites if you managed to join them. In my experience of using Panel Bucks, they recommend mostly the best survey websites. Therefore, if you follow their recommendations, you can definitely earn some money.
This graphic right here supposedly shows how much you can earn from this website. The fact is, they don’t give you those job opportunities themselves but recommend websites that will do just that, hence, the huge range of the figures above. They are just recommending third-party websites that you can earn from.
One of their best recommendations is Swagbucks (a popular and legit survey company) which I’ve already reviewed in the past.
Who Can Join Panel Bucks?
Unfortunately, Panel Bucks isn’t available worldwide. It is only available in 4 countries.
But from when I’ve tested the site, you can actually still join even if you’re not in the 4 countries mentioned above. But bear in mind that you might not get good survey recommendations because most survey companies are located in these 4 countries.
What I Like About Panel Bucks
There’s not a lot to talk about this website due to its sheer simplicity. It’s basically just a survey website that doesn’t actually function like one, but more like a listing of all survey opportunities in your area. If you do not know of any survey websites, then Panel Bucks seem to be a good jumping-off point to get started.
- Free to join
- Anyone can join
- Some of its recommendations are really good survey platforms
What I Don’t Like About Panel Bucks
- Misleading $25 bonus claim
- Vague about the true nature of the website
- You will be blasted with ads unrelated to survey websites
- Facebook Group is inactive
- Customer support is almost non-existent
- No clear information about what this website does
The Verdict – Is Panel Bucks Worth Joining?
In my opinion, Panel Bucks is not worth joining. It’s not a website that I can recommend to my friends.
That’s what I base my reviews in. If I can recommend them to my friends, then I will give it a positive rating. If not, then the opposite.
The main reason why I am not recommending this website is very vague information surrounding it. If you go to their website, you will get the idea that they are a survey website when the fact is, they are not.
I would not exactly classify this website as a waste of time but rather a problematic website that is not sure about its identity yet.
Alternative To Panel Bucks
Since Panel Bucks is just an aggregate site for actual survey websites, a good alternative is just Google. Yes, that Google. A quick search on Google will net you plenty of survey website options that are very similar to what Panel Bucks is offering.
But if you do not want to try out survey sites anymore, you can jump to another industry altogether. As I’ve said, even the best survey websites won’t make you earn good money. Perhaps you may want to try a new industry like affiliate marketing. It’s one of the cornerstones of e-commerce and it’s never going out of favor.
Therefore, if you value longevity with a good chance for a good passive income, affiliate marketing is the way to go. To learn more about his opportunity, just click here to learn how I earn my money online.
