Is Online Verdict A Scam?

Welcome to my Online Verdict Review!

Online Verdict promises to help you make money online by reviewing case materials and answer question about that case. But is Online Verdict a Scam? Can you trust them?

online verdict scam

Today, we’re going to review a system that is unlike any other program I’ve reviewed here. Most of the time, I review the usual money-making schemes like affiliate marketing, survey and content mills, and something similar.

However, this program is very different because it certainly isn’t the first thing that you think about when presented with a money-making scheme. This program is called Online Verdict which assembles focus groups for lawyers to help them on their ongoing legal cases.

You get paid by the number of case reviews you finish. This is quite a unique way to earn online, I will add. To know more about this unique program, read on further.

Summary: No, Online Verdict isn’t a Scam. You can get started for free or participate as a juror to review real legal cases and answer online surveys. You don’t have to actively seek for cases to review, select cases that you want to review, no right or wrong answers just give your honest opinion. And then get paid once a month via a check. However, the major down side is that the program isn’t a good full-time job. So, I would say the program is great, but not good for major source of income.

What Exactly Is Online Verdict?

Online Verdict was created with the primary goal of providing attorneys with case feedback from qualified jurors through online means.

It’s like a focus group created for the sole purpose of screening a case before it gets presented to the real jurors. In case you aren’t aware, focus groups are used for trials to learn the jurors’ reactions to the facts of the case.

Online Verdict basically allows people to be online mock jurors, simply by answering simple questions that are related to cases. The only real requirement is that you be a US citizen and are over the age of 18.

Once you register to this program, you will be sent an email with questionnaires about a case in your county or federal district. It’s up to you if you want to participate in the case or not.

What’s good about this arrangement is that you aren’t forced into taking cases that don’t interest you. You can choose to ignore cases at your own discretion.

However, obviously, you wouldn’t earn money if you keep turning down cases after cases. If you want to make money, you need to do your research and answer the follow-up questions to the best of your knowledge.

How Do You Get Paid?

You get paid via check on every 21st of each month. Basically, you just answer the questions in an orderly fashion and submit it to them via email. You wait for a while and get your money once your answers are approved.

Of course, you need to provide sensible answers in order to be considered eligible for payment. This means that you need to read the facts of the case, and in some cases, research additional details if need be.

In any case, this seems like a legit opportunity but you need to do your own due diligence to ensure future work. Each completed work pays at around $20 to $60 which roughly translates to a $40/hour pay rate if the average time you review a case is an hour.

Take note that in order to qualify for this program, you need to be a US citizen that is above the age of 18. The cases that you will receive depends entirely on your profile – your demographics, location, social standing, and more. You won’t receive that many cases if you live in an area that is relatively crime-free.

If you live in the big cities though, chances are, you would get many hits in terms of potential cases but you will also have other competitions, other people that match the demographics they’re looking for. So overall, it mostly just depends on luck on who qualifies for their questionnaires.

How Does Online Verdict Work?

As stated above, Online Verdict provides a focus group for cases. Traditional focus groups cost between $20,000 to $50,000, depending on how intensive it is, to create.

It’s an expensive model that is almost a prerequisite in big cases, which means that it’s almost a necessity these days. Online Verdict provides a much cheaper alternative but that is also reliable and honest.

In fact, some lawyers make use of Online Verdict as a system to gauge people’s reactions to the case. The information taken from Online Verdict can be enough to determine if the case is worth taking or if the case needs further research. Nevertheless, it is a system that can be beneficial when used properly.

There are no right or wrong answers here. Just answer the questions as you would if you are in the courtroom and you’re all set.

The main draw of this program is to give lawyers a peek as to what the average joe would think of the case, the average joe being YOU.

It would definitely help if you could provide an honest opinion about the case to both help yourself secure another gig, and also to help the lawyers assess their cases.

Honest Opinion About Online Verdict

On the surface, it seems like this program presents an opportunity that would be beneficial to people wanting to earn extra money. However, there’s more to this program than just being a money-maker. We will discuss below my honest opinion about this program.

You don’t have to actively seek for cases to review, they are sent to you

You can view this as a good or bad thing, depending on your outlook. This is good because you don’t have to spend much time searching for cases that interest you. Instead, they will send cases that fit your demographic.

However, this could also be a bad thing because you are basically at the mercy of luck since getting a job sent to you is up to chance, basically.

There are no right or wrong answers

You just have to give your honest opinion about the case and that’s all there is to it. It’s your honest opinion they’re after so it would only be fair for you to provide exactly that.

You can select which cases you want to review

If by any chance, you are selected as a potential juror for several times, you can choose the case that interests you. You will send a confirmation for each case that you review so it’s ok if you ignore a few cases in case you don’t have the time for them.

You can consider this a side job for as long as you can

You can be a mock juror for as long as you want. They will still send cases if you belong in the demographics and it’s up to you to take them or not. If you have the time, then go for it, but if not, then just ignore it.

There are limited spots

The number of spots for any cases is around 25 – 50, which means that the spots are limited, and are awarded to the first responders of the email.

The number of cases you receive depends on your profile

The demographic you belong to ultimately dictate how many cases you will receive. If you belong in a demographic that is in demand, with regards to crime, then you are in luck.

However, when the opposite is true, and you belong in a demographic that isn’t as in-demand, for instance, an older demographic, then you will receive far too few cases.

Since the amount of work you do depends on luck, this isn’t a good full-time job

As I’ve stated above, this isn’t a good money-making online if you are planning on doing this full-time. There are better options out there (you can check my other reviews) since this work ultimately boils down to luck.

There will be times where you won’t even receive work, not because there aren’t any cases, but because the focus group needed don’t belong to your demographic.

Is Online Verdict A Good Money-Making System?

In my honest opinion, Online Verdict is still worth your time. All you have to do is set your profile up and wait for the cases to come to your email.

The only real requirement is you be above 18 years old and a US citizen. That only real qualification you need is a good common sense, really. Just answer the questions as honestly as you can.

You don’t even have to answer the emails, just the ones that you are interested in answering. In my opinion, this is a great source of income albeit not a very consistent one. You can make around $60 to $150 from time to time if you are able to catch one of the emails.

And to answer the question I posed on the heading of this article, Online Verdict is definitely not a scam. It’s a good system that provides lawyers with valuable insights to help them win their case.

The only real bad thing about this program is the consistency of cases differs from county to county, but overall, it is a great money-making tool that isn’t as technical nor as demanding as any other system out there. If you have free time, this program is definitely worth checking out.

Another program that is definitely worth a look is this program, my no.1 recommended program, that I’ve been using for several years now.

This program quickly rose to the top of my recommendations once I learned and used its features for earning my first thousand bucks.

If you want to join in on the newest secret in affiliate marketing, then definitely look into this program. You’ll get all the training you need, hosting, a website and tons of great tools.
