Is Ohmydosh A Scam – Is It A Legit Cashback Platform?

ohmydosh scam

We are here for yet another review of a program that’s been gaining some followers the past few months. I first saw it on my Google ads when researching for a new program to try out. For some of the readers here, you must already know that the main point of this website is for me to review different programs to help my readers identify which ones are scams and which ones are legit. In this review, we’re going to review a new program called OhMyDosh.

OhMyDosh is another GPT (get paid to) website that gives out cashback whenever you finish a task that is given online. It’s not the first site to offer this kind of deal but many of the most popular GPT websites aren’t even worth your time – is this website any different? Today, we’re going to find out. It claims to have a more robust plan compared to its contemporaries, but are there merits to its claims? In this review, we’re going to go deep and check out the details of this system from the inside. If there’s some anomalies within this program, I am going to expose it.

Without further ado, here’s my complete review.

What Exactly Is OhMyDosh?

OhMyDosh, as I’ve said, is a GPT website that pays out in cashback. Basically, you will get paid whenever you finish tasks that range from a simple “like a photo” gig to something more complicated like answering a survey. I will list all the available tasks below.

  • Online survey
  • Enter competition
  • Download apps
  • Shop online
  • Invest on stocks
  • Spend money on a third-party supplier
  • Signing up for a program
  • Download and try a program
  • Like a video
  • Subscribe to a newsletter
  • Start a free trial
  • Availing of insurance

To be honest, I don’t think that that’s all the tasks available on the platform. But most of the tasks there are more or less the same. You don’t even have to think about the tasks because of how simple they are, really. Probably the most difficult tasks out of these are the surveys and subscription types because you would have to actually think in order to finish those. Nevertheless, GPT websites are known to help you earn pocket changes for a pocket-change kind of work.

Who’s The Mind Behind OhMyDosh

There isn’t a single person behind OhMyDosh. It’s a company owned by an even bigger company named Submission Technology Ltd, which is a company that owns several affiliate marketing and lead generation companies. It’s like that one company on top of smaller companies – think like a pyramid wherein it’s the one at the very top.

Submission Technology Ltd has been operating since 2002 and most of its products are in the marketing industry. You can consider it an online company if you will, especially since its products aren’t tangible.

Is OhMyDosh A Scam?

Well, this is a bit different than the outline I’ve used in the past but I am going to answer this question right here in the middle of the article instead of near the bottom.

OhMyDosh is a legit GPT website. It’s not a scam and it’s actually one of the highest-rated GPT websites there is. I am basing this on the overwhelmingly positive feedback and reviews I’ve read on the internet. I understand that reviews can be faked but from what I’ve gathered, around 3000 positive reviews, faking that number is going to be extremely hard. I’ve collected samples from different review websites, too, to add to the legitimacy of my research and I have found the same thing – overwhelmingly positive feedback. It’s either that it’s a really good program or they’re using extreme branding manipulation, the likes of which I’ve never seen before. I am going with the former – it’s a good program.

Now, the next logical question once we already know that this isn’t a scam is if it’s worth your time?

We’re going to answer that in a minute but first, let’s take a look at how the system supposedly works, and how much can you earn while using it.

How Does OhMyDosh Works?

The concept is actually very simple, and it’s similar to most GPT websites available. But it’s worth repeating since there are some minute differences in how they operate. Just like most GPT websites, all you have to do is create your account. You will then need to fill your profile with relevant information. Once you’re all set, you can now choose an offer on the categories bar, then do the tasks to completion to the best of your abilities. If you follow the instruction down to a T, it will be accepted into the system. You will get paid and once the fund goes through, you can withdraw your money to your bank account, or any kind of payment platform you prefer.

One small thing that you need to take note is OhMyDosh is based on UK and is not accepting users abroad (outside the UK). This means that the only real qualifications for this platform are that you be of legal age (18 years old) and are currently residing in UK.

How Much Can You Earn Using OhMyDosh?

According to reports, you can earn up to £20 on your first hour on the site. All you have to do is jump on the first offer that pops out of their system. This is specifically designed to hype up the joiners and have them spend more time on the platform. However, if we examine the long-term users and tabulate their earnings on average, it only comes out to around £1 per hour, which is pretty terrible if I were being honest. But that is the case with most cashback websites – it just is.

Fortunately, there are other ways to earn money using this platform, and that is through referrals. Every successful referral would net you around £5. Your referral code is connected to the upper left-hand of your OhMyDosh dashboard.

Negative Things About OhMyDosh

Obviously, all platforms will have some unflattering things about them and this one’s no different. OhMyDosh actually has a lot of issues that need discussion because, in my opinion, they are quite major and would affect the overall experience of the users.

My first issue with this platform is the number of delays it has when it comes to withdrawing your money. You first need to wait 30 days for the money to reflect on your main account. After that, you will then have to wait for it to reach the £10 minimum withdrawal threshold before you can claim it as your own. If you haven’t earned above that threshold yet, then you’d have to wait.

Another issue I have is the limited number of withdrawal options. At the time of this writing, you’re only limited to several banks and Paypal. You also have to pay a small fee before you can successfully make a withdrawal.

The Conclusion

Now, we head over to the conclusion – is OhMyDosh a scam?

No. OhMyDosh is not a scam but is actually a legit money-making website that pays a teeny bit amount every time you finish a task. The payout is not much but if you consistently do it, you can earn some pocket change, which is more than what you can earn on other scam programs. Needless to say, you can earn money from it but the “worth” of your earnings depends on how much you value your time.

On average, you would earn around £1 per hour which is a measly amount, and not enough to support even a single person. However, if you have some free time on your work and are looking to get some extra cash, this is a good extra gig for you. Just don’t expect to earn big from it because you’ll just be disappointed.

But if you are looking for an opportunity that would allow you to earn considerably more than a pitiful £1 per hour, you need to check out my other reviews in here. In there, you will see many programs that would allow you to earn passive income in a short amount of time.

And if you want to skip all that then head over to my #1 recommended program. It’s the program that I’ve recommended for many years now, and I’ve received nothing but praise for it. If you want in on the fun, definitely check it out.
