Is LifePoints A Scam?

is lifepoints scam

There are literally millions of different ways to earn money online but ‘earn money’ does not always equal ‘earning a livable wage,’ as those things are pretty different. If you are looking for ways to earn respectable money online, only a small percentage of all the online opportunities you see can get you there. You see, most of the “earning” opportunities you see on the web are small-time gigs and will not be able to help you earn much. One good example of that program is called LifePoints.

In today’s review, we are going to look into an online survey company called LifePoints. I’ve gone ahead and said that this company won’t help you earn much because that’s the truth. So, if your main reason for researching about this company is you want to earn a good amount of money, you already have your answer – this is not a good money-making opportunity.

The Truth About Online Survey Companies

In general, online surveys won’t even earn you anywhere near the minimum wage. That’s just the truth. All they’re good for are for pocket money. To be fair with most survey companies, they don’t really claim a high earning potential. Instead, they just use vague words like “earn online” or “earn money easily.” If you think about it, those claims are technically true.

Now, if you are looking for a good online money-making opportunity, perhaps I can point you in the right direction. You should look into affiliate marketing. It’s one of those marketing earning opportunity that really does what it claims to do. You can earn a cool amount of money in affiliate marketing. You just need to have a good strategy.

If you are looking for a good program, you can look into one of the best affiliate marketing programs I’ve used. This program allowed me to level up my marketing game. You should not just take my word for it. Come on and check it out here – My #1 Recommended Program.

What Is LifePoints?

LifePoints, as I’ve already described, is an online survey website that was launched fairly recently, effectively giving it less than 2 years of operating experience. Since it only has less than 2 years of operation experience, there is very little information to go over.

It was one of the newest companies in the survey industry. At the time of this writing, LifePoints is only available in select countries, mostly in North America. If you are outside NA, chances are, this website is not going to be available for you. Fortunately, there have been reports of LifePoints expanding their reach worldwide which means that they will be available in most countries, that is if you believe their claims.

Now, according to their metrics, they have been gaining popularity in the last year or so. However, I won’t really put much stock on these claims because no one could really verify those numbers. Needless to say, if what they’re saying is true, then it’s quite an achievement. Them being a new company and already making an image of themselves is definitely commendable.

How To Become A Member?

Becoming a member of LifePoints is easy. Their registration process is very simple and straightforward. All you need is a valid email address along with your name and you’re all set. If you want to, you can even use your Facebook account and login using that.

If you go the Facebook route, you just need to verify the account and you’re almost done. If you opt for the email and name registration, an email will be sent to you to verify the account. After you have confirmed your identity, all you have to do is fill out your profile. The information you put in your profile would be used to determine what surveys you are qualified for. If you belong in an in-demand demographic, then lucky you. If not, then you will still get survey offers but not as often as you would want to.

How Much Can You Earn With Lifepoints?

It depends on the number of surveys you qualify for and complete. Most surveys pay approximately $0.50 to $1.00. You won’t get straight cash though. You will only earn reward points. 100 points are equal to $1.00. That means that every survey you complete, you are eligible for $1.00.

You can earn additional reward points if you join their polls, participate in online discussions, and get into their daily raffles.

You can withdraw your earnings using the following:

  • Paypal (as cash)
  • Amazon gift cards (as gift checks)
  • iTunes gift cards (gift checks)
  • Lowe’s gift cards (gift checks)

The minimum payment threshold is 450 points which is about $4.50. The exchange rate varies from country to country though, so you should take note of that.

Conclusion – Is LifePoints Scam?

LifePoints is one of the newest survey websites right now. Since its inception, it quickly shot up to fame using familiar marketing techniques like using ridiculous taglines and outrageous claims. To be fair to this website, it clearly worked seeing as they are still seeing growth.

Now comes the money question – is it a scam? All points to it being LEGIT.

Would I recommend it? Now, this here is one of the best questions you could pose to me. If I were being honest, I would not recommend this website to anyone. I could even go as far as not recommending any online survey websites altogether. The amount you earn for the amount of work you do is laughable. Granted, you only need to work 10 or so minutes per gig. But to get that 10-minute worth of work, you sometimes have to spend 30 minutes searching alone. All that for $0.50. There are plenty of better alternatives out there. I already linked my recommended program above. You should check that out instead.
