If I am a promoter and I want to buy the products for personal use, I can do so at a discounted price. Distributors can also get a loyal customer discount every time they sign up two or more loyal customers.

 

Therefore, working with It Works! helps you to enjoy many commissions and discounts.

 

It is very active on social media

It Works! is one of the companies that are crushing the social media landscape. It is all over Facebook, Instagram posting videos, photos, and replying to customer comments.

 

Its activeness on social media cannot be compared to any other MLM company. You will also find thousands of sales representatives trying to advertise the products and attract customers from various sites.

 

This means that if you are new in the business and you are trying to look for techniques on how to market your own It Works!, you can quickly draw them from the online distributors.

Recently, this organization started working with the Payton Wright Foundation, Selah Freedom, The Gary Sinise Foundation, Children’s Cup and the V Foundation to create awareness and encourage other members of the society to join hands and give back to the society.

 

In every year, the organization dedicates a week to do things that benefit the community.

What I Didn’t Like About It Works! (Con)

 

The following are some of the disadvantages of this organization;

 

Lack of scientific evidence

The health and wellness products promoted by this organization have not been scientifically tested. It means that they do not have scientific evidence to support the health benefit claims.

 

According to the Food and Drug Administration body, using body wraps for contouring can have adverse effects. These untested products have harmed some customers, and especially those with very sensitive skin and organs.

 

Others have even complained that the products do not work. For instance, for one to attain results, they have to drink almost half of their body weight in ounces of water for three consecutive days after using the body wraps.

 

For example, if I weigh one hundred pounds, I have to drink fifty ounces of water for three good days. I used the weight loss supplements for two weeks and did not see the results.

 

To make things worse, I experienced severe constipation even after drinking a lot of water. I called their office to stop the auto-shipping. Surprisingly, they forced me to be committed to three months, purchasing something that never worked for me.

 

Products are overpriced

Being an MLM company, products from this firm are quite expensive, even if they can be purchased from local supermarkets.

 

When customers are buying the products from you, they can either buy at a retail price for one, which is quite high or commit themselves to a three-month purchase, usually sold at a lower price.

 

Apart from the overpricing, a person has to pay a start-up fee in order to become a distributor.

 

Moreover, distributors are talked into adding an auto-ship which costs approximately one hundred and eighteen dollars and renew every month.

 

In case you do not make any sales within a month, you will still have to incur a monthly fee that is intended to keep your online website active.

 

These payments show that you will lose a lot of money trying to maintain your account. If I were the buyer, I would prefer buying the same products from dealers who sell at a lower price.

 

Unclear training details

Another reason why I think that It Works! is a scam is that it does not provide enough information about its training programs.

 

I believe that the leaders should use the website to inform the public about the training it offers to the independent distributors.

 

Additionally, the company does not make a report of the lessons taught during the social media training programs. Transparent training programs are beneficial to people who lack experience in sales and network marketing.

 

Therefore, knowing that the firm does not offer transparent training programs can cause the recruits to consider opportunities from other MLM companies.

 

Poor representation of the products

Sometimes, the distributors do not adequately advertise what the products are meant to do. The main reason for this is that they have not been sufficiently trained or they haven’t used the products they are trying to sell.

 

This increases the chances of new distributors joining under the wrong team. This misrepresentation of the products causes everyone assumes that It Works! is a horrible company and a scam.

Personally, I thought that the whole It Works! thing was some type of pyramid scam.

 

I made this assumption because the main idea was for the promoters to get many distributors and loyal customers under them and then the promoters get commissions based on the sales they make. Initially, you have to pay a certain fee to join.

 

This fee can be regained within the first month if you get a lot of customers to buy the supplements.

 

As the distributors gain other distributors under them, the leading promoter is still compensated a percentage of all the sales made down the chain.

 

However, the rate is entirely different from that of the distributors directly under you. My friend has been doing this for some time now, and she is still making money every month.

 

The more a person goes up the rank, the more they receive a higher income. For example, the person at the top will earn money from the growing tree of distributors and also bonuses which can go as high as ten million dollars.

 

I thought this was a lie until my friend went to an annual conference and met a lady who was making a living out of this scheme.

 

The lady even told my friend that she had quit her job because she was making enough money to raise the kids and pay bills out of It Works!.
