Is CashCrate Scam?

Rating: 6.6 out of 10

Verdict: I’ve reviewed plenty of GPT programs, and while I am not exactly a fan of these types of websites, I can see a use for them, especially if you want extra pocket money. If I were to rank CashCrate among the GPT sites I’ve reviewed so far, I’d place it probably in the middle, which isn’t exactly surprising given the lack of things I like from it.

What Exactly Is CashCrate?

CashCrate is a website where people can signup for offers and other types of memberships in hopes of getting a chance to get paid for signing in. Many websites offer payment or bonus for each sign up they get and CashCrate finds those opportunities and give them to their members.

If you are familiar with other GPT websites, then this is very similar to those. You get a reward every time you finish a small task. For CashCrate, most of the tasks are concentrated in signing up for offers and websites on the internet.

The reason some websites do this is they want people to sign up on their websites to increase their exposure. You will find many opportunities like this on the internet.

How To Become A CashCrate Member?

Becoming a member of CashCrate is no different than joining other websites. All you have to do is register by using a working email. You then verify the email address and you’re good to go.

You go to their website and get access to websites that give out offers and promotions for their users. You select which opportunities pique your interest and follow the instructions. That’s basically it.

How Do You Make Money On CashCrate?

Plenty of companies are willing to advertise their websites to bigger websites to help their userbase grow. CashCrate is a website that fills that needs. It’s ultimately an advertising site for smaller websites looking to get a following.

These small sites pay a fee to have their information promoted on the site. A fraction of that fee will be given to the users who successfully complete offers.

However, many of these offers will need your credit card information. They have a guarantee that the information will not be used for fraud but should you take their word for it? I don’t think so. Even if it is indeed secure, why would you even consider giving your information away for a mere chance of earning $1.

You stand to lose more if your credit card information gets leak by any of the websites you register to. For your safety, avoid those kinds of offers. Unfortunately, those offers pay better, but as I’ve said, the risk is definitely there.

How Much Can I Earn From CashCrate?

Unfortunately, I can’t give a figure because there are just too many factors to consider. I can only give you an insight into the amount to expect for the time you are willing to put it. On average, if you are able to secure several gigs and was able to work continuously for an hour, expect at least $4 for your effort.

Take note that most of the tasks given on CashCrate, you can finish within 5 minutes. So that’s around 12 tasks for $4, and that is if you are able to get 12 gigs in the first place. As it stands, this website is not able to provide consistent gigs for its users.

In reality, you can maybe earn $5 maximum in your first month of using CashCrate consistently. Their withdrawal threshold is $10 which means that you aren’t allowed to withdraw unless you go over that amount, so take that in mind. It could take you anywhere from 2 months to half a year to secure that amount.

What I Like About CashCrate

To be honest, there’s not many things to like about this company. It’s basically the clone of many GPT websites out there. You will need to try hard to find differences between this and any other GPT websites. Even then, the difference is so small that you would barely notice.

  • The only thing I like about this program is you can really make money off of it. That being said, it’s not exactly good money. But that’s the thing with these GPT websites – you won’t earn much from any of them. They are just good for pocket money. And even then, some of them can’t even earn you that much.

What I Don’t Like About CashCrate

There are plenty of things that I don’t like in GPT websites. But for this list, I’ll stick to the things that are unique for this program. I’ll try to avoid the things I don’t like about this industry in general.

  • Unrealistic expectations about the amount you can earn
  • Referring someone to the program also does not pay that much contrary to what they say
  • Since the offers come from third-party companies, payment is not 100% guaranteed
  • Inconsistent amount of offers and inexplicably low payment per activity
  • It has a high payout threshold which can stop you from withdrawing the money you earned
  • They can delay or even void your payment for any reason they see fit
  • Many of these offers would require you to input your credit card information, which you should avoid at all cost

The Verdict – Is CashCrate A Scam?

Based on my research on this company, it seems to be a legit program. However, I will not recommend it to anyone due to the fact that the opportunities presented by the website are not exactly good. Most of the earning opportunities from the site seem to be just filler and not quality platforms at all.

If you want to have access to better offers on the internet, you’re better off searching for alternatives. There are plenty of GPT websites that you can choose from that are substantially better than this. CashCrate is kind of limiting itself by only listing simple opportunities. You can see plenty of websites that list all kinds of earning opportunities, which should be the better option.

I’ve reviewed plenty of GPT programs, and while I am not exactly a fan of these types of websites, I can see a use for them, especially if you want extra pocket money. If I were to rank CashCrate among the GPT sites I’ve reviewed so far, I’d place it probably in the middle, which isn’t exactly surprising given the lack of things I like from it.

Alternative to GPT Programs

If you are tired of seeing ads from GPT websites promising you extra money but underdelivering all the time, then maybe you should try to move into a new industry altogether. I’ve been working in the affiliate marketing industry for a while now and it’s proven itself time and time again.

It’s one of the oldest money-making industry on the internet which is saying a lot. It’s one of the foundations that the internet is built today so when I say affiliate marketing is THE money-maker, it really is the money-maker of the internet.

If you want to learn how I do my affiliate marketing, then you should definitely check my #1 Recommendation.
